Our Approach at NUA
Nua Medical Practice is a state of the art GP Surgery located in the purpose built Primary Care in Droumleigh, Bantry. The practice is fully wheelchair-accessible and our experienced team of healthcare professionals offer an extensive range of integrated medical services, tailored to meet your individual needs. We offer all the usual General Practice and family medicine services you would expect from your doctors’ surgery, in a professional yet relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
In the Beginning
Initially founded by Dr. Denis Cotter RIP, in 1976, the surgery was previously located in Newtown, Glengarriff Road, Bantry. The doctors at the clinic have cared for patients from conception to end of life for many years. Dr. Joan Lynch took over the Practice in 2019 following Dr. Denis’ untimely death.
We moved to our current location in November 2020 and now work in the newly built state of art primary care centre located beside Bantry General Hospital in Droumleigh.
